Sep. 10 : Moodbidri Varado YCS Council arranged under the leadership of Moodbidri Town parish YCS unit, a full day workshop for all YCS members of the Varado at Corpus Christi Church Hall, Moodbidri on Sep. 10, 2010.
The Vicar Vara, V. Rev. Austin Peter Peres inaugurated the workshop and presided over the inaugural function. In his presidential address he referred WHO definition of integral health and said that prevention is better than cure.
The Varado Director Rev. Fr Abel Lobo made the introductory remarks and advised the youngsters to cultivate a healthy life style.
Mr Loyd Rego and Mr Amar Lobo introduced the resource Persons.
Resource persons Dr Edward Nazareth, Fr Ronald Sanctis, Dr. Rohan Mendonca ,the YCS Varado office bearers and animators were on the dais.
The inaugural function began with invocation by YCS Moodbidri unit and ended with YCS theme song.
Around 165 YCS members were present.
