Sunday 23rd April 2017: Corpus Christi Church Moodbidri today celebrated Divine Mercy & Bible Sunday during 7.30 a.m. Mass. Parish Priest V. Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira celebrated the Holy Eucharist. Holy Bible was brought in procession to the Altar and honoured by garlanding it on bible stand in front of the altar. The Divine Mercy Portrait was also garlanded and honoured as today we celebrate the Divine Mercy Sunday. The spiritual committee organized and conducted the liturgy. After the mass Infant Jesus novena prayer was conducted at the Infant Jesus Shrine. Today is the 4th anniversary of Infant Jesus Shrine Inauguration at our church. The prayer intentions collected during the year were burnt at the end.
After the prayer cakes were distributed to all present.
May the Divine Mercy of Jesus flow in us and make us repent our sins to lead a life pleasing to God.
As we are celebrating Bible Sunday today, let us start to read and understand the word of God to apply it to our life.
