Parishioners celebrate birthday of Parish Priest

Corpus Christi Church, Moodbidri Parishioners celebrated birthday of Parish Priest V. Rev. Fr Austin Peter Peres today 15th January 2014 at 7.00 a.m. mass in the church. He completes 46 years today.

Sr. Felcita A.C. thanked God for giving us such a loving parish priest who kept us parishioners in God’s love and always ready to help and guide us to live as followers of Christ Jesus.

After mass cake was cut by Fr Austin while all sang “ Happy Birthday”. Parishioners wished him offering flowers and gifts. Mr. Andrew Noronha gave an introduction about the Parish Priest and wished him on behalf of the of Parish council. Parish Vice President Mr Jossy Menezes, Secretary Mrs Rita Rego, Parish council members were present.

Cake was distributed to all.
