Valenkani Ward fest held

Sunday 14th September 2014: Velankani Ward celebrated the Ward Fest today by Offering Holy Eucharistic Sacrifice at 7.30 a.m in Corpus Christi Church. The Fest celebration took place at noon at the residence of Mrs. Clara Pinto.  The function started with a welcome dance and prayer. The guests were welcomed by giving them a red rose by the Ward Gurkarn.  Parish Priest Fr. Austin Peres, Parish Vice President Mr. Andrew Noronha, Secretary-Mrs. Rita Rego, ward gurkars of other wards, Heads of different Church organisations were present. Games for children, youth and adults were conducted and winners were given presents 

After the function lunch was served to all.
