In the gospel we have the witness of john the baptizer about Jesus.
Reflect on john's clarity on his role in the wise economy of salvation.
He does not appropriate for himself what is not his.
Do i have the correct role clarification?
In the first reading the central idea is that Jesus is to be accepted as "Christ".
In simpler words the same Jesus who was rejected and crucified, with the resurrection has become the lord and king above all.
Let me have the humility and complete faith in Jesus Christ everyday of this new year.
