READINGS:
1R: 1 JN 4:19- 5: 4 PS 71:2, 14& 15bc,17
GOS : LK 4:14-22a
The first reading clearly exhorts us that the the love of god about which we have been hearing for the past four days to be exercised in day to day life by loving our "brother" whom we can see.
Have you ever reflected on this that Christian love is “doing love”? Means not only having good intentions but action oriented.
St. James and St. Paul also have similar concept of love in their letters.
In the gospel we have one more instance of Jesus’ self manifestation.
The church as i mentioned on Jan 5, reflects on multiple epiphanies in this week.
Message: Let me re- orient my Christian life according to the " love ideal"
