Carmel name is given because Carmel means garden and like the variety of flowers grow in the garden these tiny tots from different background, families and localities will grow together as one family and learn to live as brothers and sisters.  Like the nursery rhyme – “Twinkle twinkle little star…. like a diamond in the sky”, these little stars will shine in the Carmel school.  She told them to become wise and creative and wished them all the best.

Sr. Marilda thanked, Almighty God for giving them this gift and His grace to start this venture, Parishoners and Rev. Fr. Austin Peter Peres .. as this idea was conceived in their minds, Provincial Superior and team for the support to this venture, Sr. Ujwala for her, plan and hard work, Sr. Naveena for her beautiful message and support extended, Sr. Aruna for keeping all things ready for the kids and the class, Parents and students as without them this venture will not be complete, all sisters and staff for their work seen and unseen  and Mr John Menezes, for the photos and video and his love and support to the institution.

Group Photos of all students were taken and then the students and parents were guided to the classroom. The ribbon was cut by Sr. Naveena assisted by Sr. Aruna while the song “ On this school your blessings Lord” was sung by sisters.

The children and parents were guided to the classroom with a snack packet and the children were given books.  The classroom was beautifully decorated.
