ICYM Moodbidri Unit organises 'Orientation programme for YCS members' and celebrates feast of 'Our Lady of Rosary'

Oct 10 : ICYM Moodbidri Unit organised “Orientation programme for YCS members and celebrated feast of "Our Lady of Rosary"on Sunday 7th October 2018 at Corpus Christi Church, Moodbidri. A Total of 15 YCS and 20 ICYM members along with Animators Sunil Pinto and Sylvia Mascarenhas were present for the programme. The programme commenced with the breakfast. Avish Saldanha along with other ICYM members conducted games to the YCS youth and encouraged them to join ICYM in upcoming years. Jevish Fernandes ICYM unit president proposed the vote of thanks to the gathering. Avish Saldanha compered the programme.

ICYM members incolloboration with convent sisters conducted Quiz competition to the parishioners at 3.30pm at the church. Quiz competition consisted of 2 parts, First part to identify images of various types of Mother Mary and Second Part with 20 questions. All the parishioners actively participated in the competition. On the occasion of Feast of Our Lady of Rosary, ICYM members distributed candles to the parishioners for the grand procession and participated in the rosary conducted at the church. At end, Prizes were distributed to the winners.
