Paladka - Saverapura, Dec 7: The annual feast (Vodlem Fest) of St. Francis Xavier Chapel, Saverapura was celebrated with devotion and grandeur on Friday 3rd December, 2010.
The solemn festal mass was celebrated at 10.30 am where Rev. Fr. Henry Sequeira, the Chancellor of Mangalore diocese was the main celebrant. There were 18 other periets who concelebrated the mass including V. Rev. Fr. Austin Peres, Vicar Vara of Moodbidri Varado.
Priest-in-Charge of Saverapura Chapel - Fr. Prem Prakash D'Souza C.Ss.R. thanked all those who helped in celebrating the feast in such a grand manner.
On Sunday, 5th Dec, 2010 various games were arranged for the parishioners by Saverapura youth like tug of war, musical chair, volleyball, throwball and cricket. The parishioners very actively participated in those games. The prizes for the winners will be distributed on Parish Day to be celebrated on 24th Dec evening after grand Christmas mass.
