July 11: Rev. Fr. Mathews died due to heart attack on Saturday 9th July in Ernakulam – Kerala at the Provincialate of the Redemptorist Congregation.. His funeral will be held at Aluva at 2.00 P.M today.

The English Mass community said “Farewell” and gave vote of thanks to Rev. Fr. Mathews on June 5th 2011 at Corpus Christi Church after the 11.45 a.m. Mass. Then he left to Kerala after two years service in Moodbidri. Rev. Fr. Mathews is 76 years old and will be missed by our parishioners and specially the students as he was a good counselor to them. Let us pray for his soul to rest in peace and may God grant him heavenly abode for his dedicated services to people..
