The Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady and Independence Day celebration

15 Aug, 2015 : The Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady was celebrated at Corpus Christi Church Moodbidri in the morning at 7.30 a.m. mass celebrated by Parish priest V. Rev. Fr. Austin Peres. & Concelebrated by  Rev. Fr. Michael Menezes.  The church was full of devotees for the celebration of the feast and Independence Day.

After the mass Indian national flag was hoisted by V. Rev. Fr. Austin Peres. National anthem was sung by all, saluting the flag. 

Sweets were distributed to all present to mark the occasion.  YCS organized the mass liturgy and ICYM the flag hoisting ceremony.
