Saturday 2nd September 2017 : 4th Day of Novena
As usual the novena mass started at 6.45 a.m. Children came carrying flowers in buckets and plates for showering while the adults came with flowers in hand to offer Infant Mary. Tiny tots in mother’s arms also carried flowers. VIII standard children carried out the liturgy and singing. Catechism teachers were guiding the children class wise.
Thought for the day: Mary is a witness to model motherhood

Today all mothers were remembered and their love & sacrifices to bring up children. God made mothers a part in His plan of creating human nature. Let us train our young mothers and girls to become good mothers like Mother Mary and accept willingly the gift of children by God.
After the mass children offered flowers to Mother Mary by ‘showering ceremony” in front of the “Grotto” and reciting the Novena Prayer. Buns were distributed to all present for the novena.
Oh Mother Mary, help our mothers to be like you to guide their children in the footsteps of Christ.
