The Mass was offered by our Parish Priest V. Rev. Fr. Austin Peter Peres.
The word of God for the day was “How hard it is for a rich man to enter the gates of heaven”. We are building big houses, buying big cars and forget the need of the poor. Let us understand the need to help the poor and come to their help in our richness. Let us become poor in wealth but rich in loving the downtrodden for the sake of Christ. Sharing the God given richness with the poor will open the gates of heaven for us.
After the mass, all sang “ Happy Birthday to Mrs. Lucy Santhmayor & also to her daughter Emilda who completed 55 years on that day. Cake was cut and distributed. Sophia Menezes and group sang a song for her and all wished them. Fr. Austin Peres raised a toast to Lucybai on behalf of all. Dinner was served to all by the Tellis family.
