On August 5, 2023, a special devotion event took place at Corpus Christi Church, Moodbidri, focusing on the theme "Spirit-Filled Christian Life." Following the Saturday evening holy mass from 6 to 9 p.m., the program commenced with praise and worship led by Br. Elias and his team. Reverend Fr. Cyril Lobo delivered a sermon centered on the resurrection of the faithful after death. Fr. Cyril emphasized the importance of believing in eternal life with God and living a spirit-filled Christian life. He also highlighted the virtues of Mother Mary, encouraging attendees to lead a life of surrender to God. The devotion event included adoration of the blessed sacrament after the homily. The gathering witnessed the presence of around 300 devotees.
